Frequently Asked Questions

Where are you located?

All-G Vitality is located in the heart of downtown Longmont, at the corner of Main Street and 3rd Avenue. You’ll find us in the historic 525 brick building, right next to Jefe’s Tacos. Since this is a secure building, access is provided upon arrival. When you get here, simply call or text me so I can let you in. There are entrances on both 3rd Ave and Main Street, so be sure to let me know which door you’ll be at when you arrive.

Where should I park?

Parking is a breeze! There’s free two-hour street parking available on both Main Street and 3rd Avenue. Alternatively, you can park in the free lot behind the building at 3rd and Kimbark, right in front of the Longmont Municipal Courthouse. Either option should give you plenty of time to enjoy your session without worry.

Should I tip?

I have a no-gratuity policy, and it’s something I stand by wholeheartedly. My rates are all-inclusive, so there’s no need to calculate tips or wonder what’s appropriate. The best way to show your appreciation is by returning for regular bodywork and sharing your positive experience with friends and family. To make things even easier, I recommend paying ahead of time if possible, so there’s no need to handle a transaction after your session. This allows us to focus entirely on your relaxation and therapeutic needs.

How do I pay?

We offer multiple payment options to make things as seamless as possible. You can pay with cash, card, or Venmo. If you book online, there’s an option to pay via credit card in advance, which I highly recommend—it’s one less thing to think about on the day of your session. If you prefer cash or Venmo, feel free to pay when you arrive or after your session. My Venmo handle is Christopher-Algea, and I’m happy to accommodate whichever method works best for you.

How much time should I allot for my session?

I recommend arriving about 10 minutes early to give yourself time to settle in, use the restroom if needed, and discuss the goals of your session during our intake. After your massage, it’s a good idea to block off an additional 10-15 minutes to ease back into your day and for a quick follow-up chat. This way, you leave feeling fully restored and unrushed.

What is a Swedish massage?

Swedish massage is a foundational and widely popular form of massage therapy designed to relax the entire body that is also sometimes referred to as “Classical Massage”. It combines flowing strokes, gentle kneading, and circular motions to relieve muscle tension, improve circulation, and promote a sense of calm. Ideal for those seeking to unwind or ease general tension, it’s perfect for beginners and anyone craving a gentle, restorative experience. During the session, I’ll use techniques like long strokes, kneading, light tapping, and gentle stretches, adjusting pressure to match your preferences. Whether soothing or slightly firmer, Swedish massage is tailored to leave you feeling refreshed and balanced.

What is Trigger Point Therapy?

Trigger point therapy is a focused technique that targets tight, irritable spots in muscles known as “trigger points.” These points can cause pain locally or refer discomfort to other areas, like tension headaches or back pain.  During a session, I apply firm, sustained pressure combined with stretching or movement to release tension and restore function. While the pressure may feel intense, it’s always within your comfort level and aimed at relieving pain and improving mobility. This therapy is ideal for chronic tension, radiating pain, or limited range of motion, and is especially effective for repetitive strain injuries and stress-related tightness.

What is Cupping?

Cupping is an ancient technique that uses suction to lift the skin and underlying tissues, promoting circulation, relieving tension, and supporting the body’s natural healing processes. During a session, I place specialized silicone or glass cups on specific areas of your body, creating a gentle suction that encourages blood flow and helps release tight muscles and fascia.

Unlike traditional massage, which compresses tissues, cupping works by lifting and decompressing, allowing for a deeper release of tension.

Note: Cupping may leave temporary marks, often described as “therapeutic bruising,” which are painless and simply a sign of improved blood flow to the area.

What is Structural Integration?

Structural integration is a specialized technique that focuses on aligning the body by addressing tension in the fascia, the connective tissue surrounding muscles and organs and the skeletal system. This approach improves posture, reduces pain, and enhances movement by realigning the body to work more efficiently with gravity. Unlike general massage, structural integration takes a whole-body perspective, releasing patterns of tension and imbalance that affect overall mobility.
